I used raspberry vegan buttercream – from pies and tacos recipe: https://www.piesandtacos.com/vegan-raspberry-macarons/

and a dollop of raspberry preserves for the middle

Edit: I would add that for my taste the filling + shells as in the recipe was a bit too sweet for me. I think I’m going to try a less sweet buttercream next time.
